Agni Farm was an experiment in communal living. A former grazing property in Sheppardson's Lane, it was bought early in the 1980's by a co-op who's members resided as tenants-in-common. The tenants built dwelling houses but shared kitchen and meeting facilities.

Despite several years of building and developing the property, the concept proved unworkable and the property was sold. It now is the site of the very succesful Living Valley Springs health retreat.

Jack McAndrew? was the prior owner of the farm. It was primarily a dairy farm with some small crops such as beans grown during the winter seasons.
